This is a hotel go-to for Montacute! So glad we choose it, it's fabulous base for staying in Montacute. The restaurant serves excellent homemade food.

Its location in a lovely old pub was stunning. They provided a good choice of outstanding choices for breakfast that was included. The staff was extraordinarily friendly, as well as owner.

We had excellent breakfasts with the best sausages, and had dinner at the MAGNIFICENT restaurant on-site. The staff were consistently courteous, incredibly nice, would love to come back here some time.

Very pretty and amazing location next to a very large, pretty garden at the rear, historic Montacute and Very close to Montacute House, just a walking distance from an Anglican church. The amiable staff with early breakfast request.

The breakfast was large with the best sausages I have ever eaten, and the food was superb. The location was beautiful and lovely, adjacent to pretty garden at the rear. Also, a Long gallery was within easy reach.

The venue has en suite rooms and outstandingly accommodating and amiable staff with early breakfast request. Plus, the location is perfect and amazing, minutes from a Long gallery.

The location was amazing, close enough to a very large, pretty garden at the rear and the centre. Btw, we went to see the lake, it was 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

The daily breakfast was sensational with the best sausages. There was a nice garden, beautiful and amazing setting right in the village centre.

The hotel's location in the heart of a beautiful village was ideal. We were able to easily explore the area and even had the entrance to a popular attraction just steps away from the hotel. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and had good bathroom facilities. We especially appreciated having a fan in the room for those warm summer nights. The staff at this hotel were welcoming and attentive. They went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable, ensuring that all our needs were met. The breakfast served at this hotel was simply outstanding. The sausages were the best I've ever tasted, and the fact that the landlady cooked a full English breakfast according to our preference was a lovely touch.

The excellent staff helped us during visit. The location was stunning and incredible for walking around a Long gallery. It was also right by the restaurant, a very large, pretty garden at the rear, and Very close to Montacute House.

The room turned out to be freshly decorated and airy with nice touches, a fan plus the excellent real ale selection.

We had a warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious cooked breakfast and good coffee. The room and bed were cozy and comfortable. The inn is located in a beautiful historic village, next to a National Trust property. We also enjoyed the evening meal and drinks, especially the homemade soup. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. a great stay for friends who like going out at night.

We felt right at home during our stay, and the staff made sure that nothing was too much trouble.
